This policy explains what we store on your device, why, and how you control it. It applies to euinstitutions.eu, id.euinstitutions.eu, signal-app.thyreon.eu and every other service we operate on the same platform. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with personal data generally.
1. What we mean by cookies
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device so it can recognise it later. We use the word here to cover everything that works that way — cookies, local storage, session storage and similar technologies — because the rules and your choices are the same for all of them.
2. The short version
- Strictly necessary cookies make the site work. They are always on, and consent is not required for them.
- We set nothing else. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on these sites, from us or from anyone else.
- Because we set nothing that needs consent, there is no cookie banner. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask you before anything is set.
3. The categories we use

We do not use cookies to build a profile of you for advertising, and we do not allow third parties to use cookies on our sites for their own advertising purposes.

5. No consent banner, and why
We show no cookie banner because we set nothing that requires consent. A banner asking permission for cookies we do not use would be theatre, and it would train you to dismiss a question that matters.
If we introduce analytics or any other non-essential technology, we will publish an updated version of this policy and ask for your consent before anything is set — and refusing will be as easy as accepting, and will cost you nothing.
7. Controlling cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Their help pages explain how. Two things to know:
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you signing in and will break parts of the service. We cannot work around that.
- Browser settings apply per browser and per device, so a choice made in one place does not follow you to another.
8. Changes
If we add a cookie or a new purpose, we update this policy and, where the new purpose needs your consent, we ask you again before anything is set.
